Rev. Michelle G Funk
Pastor
Pastor Michelle is passionate about Ministry for all ages, enjoys intergenerational faith formation, building relationships with all ages, and absolutely loves worship design, leadership and preaching!
She knows the importance of looking for ways to reach those that have been hurt by the church or are seeking a place at Christ’s table.
Pastor Michelle is full of energy. loves to laugh, and enjoy life. She loves trips at the beach, crafting, reading, coffee shops, technology, and she especially enjoys spending time with her family.
Sydney Kobal
Office Administrator
Sydney is our office administrator here at Heidelberg. She has been working here since 2021 and enjoys working “behind the scenes” at the church. She loves working with our members, designing bulletins and newsletters, and doing various other things around the church.
When she isn’t in the office she enjoys reading, baking, gardening, beekeeping, traveling, and playing with her two basset hounds!
Judy Palma
Accompanist
Judy Palma’s professional career has brought her all over the world, traveling with such legendary artists as James Taylor, Rupert Holmes ( The Pina Colada Song), Mary Wilson of the original Supremes, Tony Danza’s cabaret act, Ben E. King ( Stand By Me) with whom she has also co written and produced some of his recordings, and most recently served as musical director for Englebert Humperdink among many others. An established NYC session musician, she has written and recorded music for Sesame Street as well as several jingles for Barbie and AT&T. A well known presence in the lobbies of some of NYC’s swankiest hotels, she was called upon to provide the solo piano entertainment when Barbra Streisand threw an intimate luncheon at the Four Seasons Restaurant. Some of her Broadway performances from the orchestra pit have included the smash hits Hairspray, The Wedding Singer, and Evita.

Puppy Minister
Certified Church Therapy Dog
Muggles was installed as our certified church therapy dog on June 2nd. Muggles enjoys visiting our homebound, in assisted living facilities, and hospitals. Muggles loves to attend our church and community events. He enjoys giving lots of snuggles and comfort while sharing God’s love. He loves rolling over for belly rubs!
Therapy Dogs are sometimes called "comfort dogs." They support a person's mental health by providing attention and comfort. Their sweet demeanors and unconditional love may have a therapeutic benefit to those who face difficult health challenges. Muggles shares God's unconditional love with everyone he meets!
